Partners and Co-Founders:
Roy Peleg
(M.Sc)
Roy is an agronomist and holds a B.Sc and a M.Sc in Agriculture
Science both from the Hebrew university in Jerusalem. Prior
to AraZim Roy worked for several years as Marketing Director for Netafim Ltd.
a world leader in smart irrigation solutions, Roy was head of marketing
operation in the Asia and Pacific regions. During his overall 7 years with
Netafim, Roy served as the greenhouse division director in APAC and as the
corporate greenhouse division agronomist. Roy has 12 years of experience in
the agro business including 5 years with Fertilizers and Chemical (ICL).
Roei Zerahia
(B.Sc & MBA)
Roei Holds a B.Sc in Computer-Science & Mathematics and a MBA, both Cum Laude from
Bar-Ilan University.
Roei is a staff member and a lecturer at Shankar College of engineering and design
in the Industrial Engineering department and also teaches at the Computer-Science
Faculty in Bar-Ilan University . Roei is a member of the Merage Foundation for
U.S-Israel trades MBA Executive leadership program that promotes Israeli-American
business cooperation.
Prior to AraZim, Roei headed a development unit in SPL Software, a project manager
in Korneto Technologies and later on headed its IT division.
Amir Golan
(MBA)
Amir holds a B.A in Political Science and Middle-Eastern studies (graduated cum
laude) and MBA from the Ben-Gurion University. Amir also graduated from the Merage
Foundation for U.S-Israel trade Executive MBA leadership program. He serves as an
advisor and a guide for Entrepreneurship & Business-Planning at Rupin Academic
Center. Amir is also a member of the board & the Finance committee of Tel Aviv Stock
Exchange listed, ISSTA-Lines LTD (ISTA.P).
Senior Staff:
Avi Avidan
(M.Sc & MBA)
Avi holds an MBA from Ben-Gurion University and an Msc in Bio-Technology
Engineering. He is staff member and lecturer at Sapir College for Statistics,
Bio-Technology, and Business Administration.
Avi is an entrepreneur and a founder of several start-up companies in the
field of clean tech. He gained extensive practical knowledge of green
technologies and he is the prize winner of the European NovaTech
competition for entrepreneurship and business planning and won second
place in The Intel Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge
for his ventures.
Justin Karr
Justin holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of
Pennsylvania. Justin began his career in Investment Banking at JPMorgan
where he advised clients in the Industrials, Transportation, Aerospace
& Defense sectors on M&A and financing transactions.
He then joined iStar Financial Inc. (NYSE:SFI) where he was responsible
for analyzing new business opportunities and managing the existing
portfolio of alternative investments in the alternative energy,
technology/communications, infrastructure, healthcare, and timber sectors.
Eran Groner
Joined Arazim after graduating the Ben-Gurion university school of management, Eran has primarily focused on financial
services to start-ups. Today, Eran has helped several clients in the fields of aquaculture and agriculture grow their business
substantially. Eran is accompanying start-up companies in various stages, providing them with financial valuations, business
modeling, budgeting and budget control, investor relations, investment negotiations and other economical and financial aspects
of the company, working alongside founders CEO's, CFO's, as well as investors and strategic partners.
Naama Aviv
(Agronomist .B.Sc.)
Naama holds a Bachelor of Agricultural and Environmental Science. Naama brings extensive knowledge in several agricultural aspects,
including classical agronomy, nursery, plant cultivation, breeding and seed production. Before joining Arazin Naama served as
an agricultural advisor for The Agricultural Extension Service of The Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and spent 6 years as an
agronomist in Evogene Ltd. Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE:EVGN) where she gained extensive experience in biotechnology in the
field of plant transformation.
